Fresh ideas for creating art

APRIL 2015 | MEANDER VALLEY ART SOCIETY

THOSE WHO enjoy painting and drawing or just experimenting with different art mediums, are invited to

attend a morning with members of the Meander Valley Art Society.

The group consists of amateur artists who meet once a week, to share time with painting friends and work with a variety of mediums.

During the year, the society hosts tutorials run by professional local artists to keep their ideas fresh.

Topics are chosen by group members, and range from experimenting with different mediums and techniques to revising past lessons.

The group meets at the Uniting Church Hall in West Barrack Street, Deloraine on Friday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm and, for a few weeks in summer, they move outside to paint in members’ gardens.

Membership is $20.00 per year. Weekly meetings are $5.00 and include morning tea.

If you would like to join this group or just check it out, please call in any Friday. For more info, please ring Sally Dawkins on 6362 4994.
