Haemochromatosis

JULY 2015 |

IF PAINTING is in your blood it’s a lot better than having haemochromatosis (blood iron overload).

Make an artwork with the theme ‘iron overload’ and be part of an exhibition to help those who suffer from this debilitating disease.

Haemochromatosis is the most common genetic disorder in Australia.

The exhibition started four years ago in Hobart by Ms Sarah Weaver and is moving to Deloraine for the first time to be displayed. Artworks of all mediums will be accepted as long as they can be hung on a wall.

The exhibition will be opened on Friday 14th August at 5:30pm by Mr Guy Barnett MP with Mr Ben Narris, Australian President of Haemochromatosis Australia, and Sarah Weaver as guest speakers.

If you would like to participate please contact Sheila Stevenson on 6393 7111 or 0428 576 795.
