‘ENHANCING CARRICK’ is a community development initiative established by the Carrick Community Committee in 2014.

The aim is to reinvigorate Carrick as a tourism ‘village’ destination and to re-establish its traditional links with the Entally Estate.

Establishing trees at each end of Carrick was the first step and is now complete.

Thanks to Meander Valley Council who, with their horticultural expertise, worked tirelessly to bring this first phase of the project to fruition.

Further plans include street-scaping of Carrick with trees to be planted along the main street, the re-introduction of the annual Carrick Produce Fair (est.1902) showcasing produce from the area, and making Carrick a focus for events such as club gatherings, vintage car rallies and other entities associated with Carrick’s heritage.
