ON SATURDAY 8th August the three Deloraine Football Club teams all wore Pink Socks for Breast Cancer Awareness to support Life Member and N.T.F.A. living legend Merrilyn Young who has breast cancer. The Kanga Room was filled with her friends who made delectable pink goodies for the day.

In conjunction with this, Merrilyn and her mother held a soup & sandwich luncheon on 31st July for Life Members, supporters and friends with Lloyd Evans relating humorous stories and Merrilyn told of her journey of breast cancer.

A quilt donated by Deloraine Embroidery group was raffled and drawn at the Football match and was won by June Coleman of Deloraine. $1,750 was raised from the 2 days.
