A TEAM COMPRISED of 7 paddlers from the Deloraine Flames Dragon Boat Club, combined with 5 paddlers from other State clubs, paddled to victory and won the 2nd Dragon Boat Festival on the North Esk River opposite Seaport in Launceston.

Club President, Peter Ashton, commented “It was most pleasing to see that at the level we competed at, even though we’re the newest Club in the State, we were able to give the other Clubs a good run for their money.”
