CARRICK PARK Pacing Club will hold its final race meeting of the season on Saturday 30th January.

Anticipate some exciting racing as the glossy-coated horses’ pounding hooves speed their sulkies past the winning post in a flash of dazzling silks!

The Vandenberg Transport Carrick Cup and the Cressy Transport Tasmanian Country Championship will be the day’s highlights.

The Club caters for everyone with plenty of free entertainment. Competitions run at the meeting include Fashions on the Field and Tug-o’-War.

These are always very well-contested with some great cash and prizes to be won. Entries are taken on the day.

The popular band “Ball and Chain” will play following the final race till late, so come prepared to party!

As well as free facepainting, there is a free jumping castle for the children which always takes a pounding.

Members of the Committee have once again undertaken to improve facilities at the track, with the bar having had a major face lift for this season’s racing.

It will be a great day out for the entire family.
