THE LONG running Westbury Agricultural Show has been delighting participants and show-goers for many a year.

This year, improvements have been made courtesy of grants from Bendigo Bank and the Tasmanian Community Fund.

The Westbury Agricultural Society Committee invested the extra funds into construction of a building to house vehicles belonging to a number of Associations and Clubs from around the Meander Valley.

Currently, the new Community Services Shed is home to trucks, caravans and food vans belonging to Westbury Lions Club, Westbury Rotary Club, the Northern Hunt Club, the Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s Association and the Northern Tasmania Show Jumping Association.

Patrons are warmly invited to attend the Official Opening Day of the Community Service Shed, to be held at Westbury Showgrounds on Saturday April 16th, 2016.

The event will commence at 2:00p.m., with afternoon tea to follow.
