THE DEPUTY Premier, the Hon. Jeremy Rockliff officially opened the Precision Agriculture Project Expo 2016 in Deloraine.

Demonstration sites across Tasmania are designed to increase awareness of the benefits of precision agriculture technology in farming.

The Project fosters the adoption of precision agriculture best practices.

Demonstrations provide advice on soil and crops, climate and seasonal variability, management and protection of land.

By increasing and sharing knowledge and farming experiences, the Project aims to expand on-farm productivity and sustainability across the state.
