OVER 200 ace shot darts enthusiasts gathered recently at the Westbury Sports Centre.

They were there to take part in the ongoing competition to see who is the best in Tasmania.

Those who come out on top will be selected for the state team set to play against Australia’s finest.

With nearly all of Tasmania’s regions represented at the meet, both men and women were throwing down their best in a bid to get a spot on the State team.

With selections approaching rapidly the stakes are high.

Each regional team is wearing their own unique team shirts, making them a colourful bunch throwing pointy things around and having a good laugh; brightening up the sports centre’s ambience.

Over all it is great fun to watch and we should all cheer on our State team when its members get selected.
