FOLLOWING THE success of last years event, Aboriginal Community Pathways, in co-operation with Deloraine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Community, Deloraine House and the Meander Valley Council, are holding a flag raising ceremony for NAIDOC week celebrations.

This is set for Wednesday, 6th July 2016, at the Deloraine Cenotaph.

The ceremony is likely to include a Welcome to Country, acknowledgements, speeches and a Smoking Ceremony, followed by cultural food tasting and other refreshments to be served at the Deloraine House with a DVD running showcasing culture.

The ceremony will commence at 11.00am and finish at 1.00pm.

Food and beverage will be served at the Deloraine House from 1.00pm until 2.00pm. All are welcome.
