Sites of Love and Neglect

March 2017

WESTBURY’S HOLY Trinity Catholic Church is one of the venues for the visual arts project ‘Sites of Love and Neglect’.

Curated by Jane Deeth, a group of artists have worked with the communities and natural and built environments of nine sites around the state, reflecting the intriguing secrets, forgotten stories, lost memories and neglected places of Tasmania.

Inspired by the ambience of the church organ in a contemporary world, artist Dylan Sheridan’s work connects the church organ with the extensive system of caves that exist below the surface.

It is on display from Friday 17th March until Sunday 26th March. Entry is free and part of the 10 Days On The Island program.
