MARCH 2017
Several players from the Hawthorn Football Club found out they are much better at playing football than they are at herding sheep when they visited the Hagley Farm School recently. Pictured is Cyril Rioli whom, after struggling to fit in the small desk, learnt some new lessons with Lindsay Clark and Felicity Carer, both aged 7.
They were joined by local MP Guy Barnett who is also chair of the Friends of Hagley Farm School to promote the ‘Looking after ME program’ which encourages healthy eating and living. The students received the footballers with enthusiasm and when Hawks players were offered a choice between a ‘D’ for dunce hat or the cane, they took the hat!
