29 years since ET played footy

April 2017

THE ELIZABETH Town Football club held a reunion after ceasing existence 29 years ago.

With 80 to 90 in attendance, five were members of the 1961 premiership team, and eight were former senior coaches.

90 year-old Mr Jack McKenrick, a premiership player and a foundation- turned life-member of the club, was the oldest attendee.

With memorabilia and laughter abounding, the reunion was held at Railton; the club’s last location after it lost its grounds.
