Update on reopened regional roads

June 2017

MERSEY FOREST Road, which leads to the Walls of Jerusalem, has re-opened.

However, Parks & Wildlife are still working on the Fish River Bridge which restricts access by car to the normal car park. So a temporary car park and ford has been established for walkers to get to the Walls of Jerusalem National Park.

Though the Liffey Falls upper car park and walk remain closed until June, the lower camping area and lower track to the falls are open.

While Devils Gullet and Parsons Track remain shut until further notice, all walking tracks in and around Meander Conservation Area, including Meander Falls and Westmorland Falls, are accessible.

Access to the Higgs and Western Creek tracks on Westrope Road is still possible, and all roads to Cradle Mountain have reopened, including Oliver’s Road Tourist Route (C138).
