THE TASMANIAN Independent Country Music Awards comes to Meander Valley on Saturday 21st October at the Launceston Country Club from 6:30pm.

20 award winning artists, combining International, National and Local Artists will perform Live on Stage.

The awards will feature Tasmanian legends Singing Kettles, International New Zealand star Aly Cook, Don Allen and the king of country rock Jade Hurley. Plus there is the queen of country Jean Stafford, and Tassie's favourite girls Gina Timms and Debbie Parry. Others in the line up include Melbourne band Destiny and Chris Williams

The director of the awards is urging people to get their tickets to this event at tixtas.com.au and support country music.

This year Jade Hurley will be inducted into National Legend status and Gina Timms and Rob Bean into the Tasmanian Legend category.

The 2017 Hall of Famer will also be inducted.

For people to vote in the Tasmanian and National category and see who their finalists are this year go to ticma.com.au.

Never in Australian award history has there been such a line-up of super talented artists from all over Australia and New Zealand performing live on stage.

The director of the awards said if the northern country music residents support this event and we have a full house the Board will seriously consider keeping the awards at the Country Club.
