THE LIONS Club of Westbury have started a battery drive in order to recycle waste and raise funds.

If you have any used vehicle batteries they can be dropped off at Westbury Rural Services in Westbury. Bulk pickups can be arranged by calling the club Secretary Phil Steers on 0419 858 880.

Funds raised from the drive will be used to help cover costs of the Adrian Geard Memorial Scholarship for Nursing. This scholarship is for a local second year nursing student.
