JANUARY 2018

From smoke-belching old Fordson Majors to alky burning super modifieds, they were all there at the Deloraine Apex Tractor Pull. Competitors from NSW and Victoria as well as a strong local contingent vied for tractor glory on reputedly the best track in Australia.

A record crowd attended the first day of this annual, very popular show but heavy rain dampened enthusiasm for attending on day two.

Generous donations from interstate sponsors enabled some of Australia’s most exotic super modifieds to attend the Tractor Pull, which is gaining in popularity year by year. A spokesman for Deloraine Apex said bigger and better things are planned for next year. Pictured above is Tim Creswell testing out his Fordson Major on the first day of competition.
