JANUARY 2018
The dream became a reality when the Kooparoona Niara cultural trail located on the Meander River Bank in Deloraine was officially opened. Hundreds of people gathered to celebrate with a traditional Aboriginal dance and ceremonial walk along the trail. The long-term aim is to have a large number of bush tucker plants along the trail with information plaques showing how the local tribes preserved their culture and traditions.
