JANUARY 2018

DESPITE LESS than ideal weather there was a good turnout for the annual Deloraine Show.

An abundance of free or low cost family fun was on offer with animal exhibits, an animal nursery, pet parade, puppet shows, wind tunnel, ball pit, drawing, stamp hunt and even a free showbag.

The fun didn’t stop there, with the apex train giving children rides all day, and Deloraine House offering face painting, and other children’s activities as well as a baby feed and change area.

For the first time miniature goats were on display from Willow Creek Mini Goat Stud, travelling all the way from Ellendale for the occasion.

If craft or cookery was more your thing, an extensive display of photography, flower arrangements, needlework, woolwork, preserves and cakes, contested for prizes donated by many generous Meander Vallery businesses and individuals.
