THE DELORAINE Rotary Club’s Pride of Workmanship Awards were presented on the 13th March.

The awards night took place at the Bush Inn and included a meal and a guest speaker.

The Pride of Workmanship awards went to Linda Pittard of Seppenfelts Emporium, and Zach Langley of Sibelco Limeworks.

Zach has been an employee of Sibelco for 3 years. During that time he has demonstrated pride in his work by always giving his best and his willingness to pitch in and lend a hand.

Linda engages with people from all walks of life, addressing customers by name where she can and often going out of her way to be helpful.

Rotary President, Gayle Plunkett, said the award is “a good chance for businesses also to showcase themselves to Rotarians and for us to put faces to businesses. The night was very enjoyable and, just judging by the level of conversation and interaction between everyone attending, it was a good social night as well.”
