Prostate cancer forum

July 2018

WESTBURY’S OWN Prostate Cancer fundraising team is holding an information forum on the 1st August.

The forum is for those who may know someone, care for someone or who may currently have health problems related to this disease and need information or support.

On the night, guests will hear from two leading Urology and Oncology specialists from Launceston, nurses and social workers specialising in prostate cancer care.

Speakers from the Cancer Council of Tasmania will reveal how funds raised by Purple for Prostate in Meander Valley during February are being distributed to those most in need of support.

Finger food, canapés, sandwiches and savories will be served on the night along with tea, coff„ee and slices. The bar will also be open for cool beverages.

The Westbury Purple for Prostate team are confident that the Westbury RSL will prove a welcoming venue for a warm and relaxed evening and are keen to get as many people attending as possible to assist in the eradication of this disease.

Wednesday 1st August, 6.30pm for 7.00pm at the Westbury RSL. Everyone is welcome.
