Launceston Show in the Valley

The decision has been made to extend the 2022 Royal Launceston Show to a three-day event, and it will be held in the Valley’s Quercus Park!

The show was cancelled in both 2020 and 2021 due to Covid restrictions. In 2018 and 2019 the show was only a one-day event being conducted on the Thursday public holiday. 

The basis of this decision was the enormous interest within the community and business sector created by our relocation from the former Inveresk Railyards to Quercus Park, Carrick.

Operating over three days provides the show with opportunities to expand its entertainment and competitions program enabling it to give greater value for money to its patrons.

As the various components of the Royal Show are locked in, updates will be posted on the event’s Facebook page we march towards October.
