Meander’s musical night

Meander Events’ most recent outing was another smash hit with attendees from all over the state when it brought Australian icon Mia Dyson’s Parking Lots tour to Meander Hall on May 14.

Doors opened at 5.30pm, and support act Saree Salter kicked the night off by playing to a seated and captivated audience.

Saree was followed by incredibly talented locals Thomas Mitchell and Henry Rippon.

Mia Dyson and her band hit the stage at 7.45pm, bringing most to tears with huge happy grins and swaying hips.

The evening was catered to by the Women’s Friendship Group, which raises funds to support Afghani friends and relatives overseas.

Valley Events would like to extend a huge thank you to: Henry Rippon Sound, Rino Morea, Robyn Flittner and the Women’s Friendship Group, Divine Objects, West Barrack St Junk Shop, Kim Clark, Bush Inn, the Meander Hall Committee, the volunteer bar staff and everyone who attended.

Valley Events aims to put on fun, all-inclusive events in the Meander Valley, and the next event on the cards is a Hollywood themed Trivia Night, with the date yet to be decided.
