Seppenfelts under new ownership

After 13 years at Seppenfelts, Isabel Shapcott and Alfred Franssen are handing over the keys to Rosemary Vella.

For the last 13 years, Seppenfelts, the colourful little hippy shop on the main street of Deloraine, has been an institution.

Under the loving guidance of Isabel Shapcott and Alfred Franssen, Seppenfelts has fostered quite a community, and is beloved by patrons as diverse as the shop’s contents.

Taking to Facebook to announce their departure from the store, they wrote,“It is with both sadness, and excitement that we announce that Seppenfelts will soon come under new management.”

Wednesday June 22 was their last day of trading before the new owners jump behind the wheel in the new financial year.

“We are so thankful to have been able to find buyers that share our love of community and appreciation for this special little business, and wish them all the luck in the world as they embark on this exciting new chapter.”

Rosemary Vella, owner and manager at Grandala Boutique, is the new owner and is happy to say that staff members Enya and Lisa are staying on.

Business has resumed since the change over and customers old and new are encouraged to come in to say hello and get to know Rosemary and the Seppenfelts team.
