Deloraine cemetery expansion secured

The Deloraine Cemetery has a long history of connection with the community and serves as a place for reflection and remembrance. 

Council has recently completed new Garden of Memory for internment of ashes that features bespoke rock walling that complements the domed shelter and seating installed several years ago.

After 140 years, the cemetery is almost at capacity. 

Longevity of the cemetery has now been assured with the acquisition of an adjacent parcel of land.

This will double the footprint of the cemetery and provide for the next 100 years.
