Creativity on display at Council’s Lego Exhibition

A colourful array of more than 80 LEGO creations made by local primary school children was on display 24-25 March at the Meander Valley Council’s Building Together exhibition.

LEGO creations were exhibited from students at Westbury Primary School, Bracknell Primary School, Our Lady of Mercy, Deloraine Primary School and the Home Schooling network.

Meander Valley Council worked with the Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts Inc. to enable students from local schools to have an opportunity to display their LEGO creations at the Westbury Town Hall, or at Brixhibition in Launceston if selected as finalists.

Mayor Wayne Johnston said Council was proud to support local children to display their hard work and creativity.

“Building Together is a wonderful opportunity for children across our municipality to share their creativity with our community,” Mayor Johnston said.
