LOCAL AGRICULTURAL services business, AgriCorp Pacific Pty Ltd, has been acquired by Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co. Limited (Devondale Murray Goulburn).

Now known as MG Trading, the move will expand services available to dairy farmers, agricultural industries and communities throughout the state. Devondale Murray Goulburn is working with Agri- Corp to ensure a smooth transition, including welcoming all team members currently employed at Deloraine to MG Trading. AgriCorp Managing Director, Colin Cook, said the arrangement would benefit local farmers.

“AgriCorp’s mandate was always to grow farm productivity through professional advisory services and a tailored product offering”, Colin said.

He adds, “We leave this legacy in safe hands through our agreement with Devondale Murray Goulburn whose MG Trading presence and farmer services are highly regarded by farmers on the mainland.” Planning is underway to further expand the service offering in the two stores to include fertiliser, agronomy, nutrition, feed, fuel, milk machine maintenance, insurance and finance services.
