AGED CARE Deloraine held the official opening of the Moriarty Street Independent Living Units on Saturday, 13th June, at the Kanangra Hostel.

Prior to the proceedings, Senator Fifield, Eric Hutchinson MHR, Guy Barnett MP and the Meander Valley Mayor, Craig Perkins visited two of these units and were complimentary of the development.

Approximately 50 people attended the Opening performed by the Social Services Assistant Minister Senator Mitch Fifield. The dignitaries chatted with residents while enjoying morning tea provided by the Kanangra kitchen staff.

Aged Care Deloraine has now built 64 units in the Deloraine and Westbury areas and plans to build more in the future.
