What a night it was! The dance, themed ‘The Great Gatsby’, at the Little Theatre on Saturday 22nd August and put on by Arts Deloraine and the Deloraine Big Band wasa huge success. Georgina Harvey, pictured above, was a star attraction on the night. With 150 people from as far afield as Burnie and Low Head, there were many bowtiesand tuxedos, gangster suits and flapper’s shimmy costumes. The hall was transformed into a 1920’s nightclub/speakeasy and the Big Band was brilliant. This was the fifthgreat theme night with the Big Band and their popularity just increases. Watch out in 2016 for the next (and best?) concert.
