DECEMBER 2016

‘CAROLS BY the River’ usurps ‘Carols by Candlelight’ in Deloraine this year.

Taking place on 17th December, thus starting earlier than in the past, the 7.00pm to 8.30pm programme of singers, speakers and community carolling will be left with too much daylight for candles to have much impact.

Besides performing, Amelia Reynolds, Will Kelly, school choirs and other local musicians will lead the community sing-along of all the favourite Christmas carols.

Dan Richie is there to remind us of what Christmas is really all about, with members of Kids’ Club enacting a nativity play.

Happening at the Rotunda near the Meander River in Deloraine, the family event starts with a barbecue at 6.00pm, once again, as the Combined Christian Churches of Deloraine’s Christmas gift to the community.

Bring along a chair, a rug or even a picnic to ‘Carols by the River’. For more details please contact John Phelps on 6362 4488.
