Hagley continues Kids to Farm program

Hagley Farm Primary School, with the support of TGFA, is continuing to offer the Kids to Farm program originally funded by the Commonwealth Government.

The Kids to Farm program is an extension of the schools Field Studies Centre providing an intensive customised program for pre-Year 6 students, as well as professional learning opportunities for teachers.

The Kids to Farm program includes significant hands on experiences with animals, machinery, technology and agricultural innovation.

Support from Greening Australia has enabled the extension of the arboretum to include a native species area, a planted wetlands area, installation of wildlife cameras and new fencing.

School will continue investing in infrastructure and the school farm environment to improve safety and productivity.
