Meander Valley Council is supporting young people in the region to provide input into local action to address climate change and participate in community events ranging from Winter Fire, the Climate change forum and Youth Arts Alliance activities.

Deloraine Library celebrated its 60th anniversary on 21 September 2022.

There are over 17,000 ADF veterans in Tasmania. The percentage of Tasmanian Veterans with long term health issues is also higher than the national average, which presents a significant challenge in providing support services.

Deloraine and Westbury Medical are taking new patients at both sites with a fee for the first visit and then bulk billed after that (some procedures excluded).

In the first week of October, Meander Valley residents who are enrolled to vote will begin to receive postal ballots for the 2022 Local Government Elections.
